Privacy & Cookie Policy

1. Who we are

SwiftQuote ("we," "us") is operated by Solon Group LLC, based in Illinois, United States. SwiftQuote is an AI quoting copilot that helps promotional products professionals turn client requests into formatted quotes.

Questions about this policy: privacy@swiftquote.ai

2. What SwiftQuote does

SwiftQuote is currently a free, open-beta tool. You paste a client request, SwiftQuote matches it against a product catalog using AI, and you export a formatted quote as a PDF. No account, login, or payment is required to use the beta.

3. What we do NOT collect

4. Information we collect

Client request text

When you paste or type a client request and click Generate Quote, that text is transmitted securely to Anthropic (the AI provider that powers SwiftQuote) to produce product recommendations. Per Anthropic's API terms, your text is not used to train AI models. SwiftQuote does not store the text of your client requests on our servers.

We do record non-identifying metadata about each request — character count, word count, and any quantity or budget figure mentioned — so we can understand what kinds of requests the tool handles well and where the catalog has gaps. The metadata cannot be used to reconstruct your request.

Documents you upload

If you use the optional document upload, text is extracted from the file and placed in the request box. It is then handled exactly like pasted text above. The original file is not retained.

Email addresses

If you join the notify list or request a reply to your feedback, we collect the email address you provide. It is used only to send you the updates or reply you asked for. We do not sell it, share it, or add you to unrelated lists. Unsubscribe or request deletion any time at privacy@swiftquote.ai.

Feedback

Answers you submit in the post-quote feedback survey (multiple-choice selections and any written comments) are stored so we can improve the product.

Usage analytics

We collect anonymous usage events — pages viewed, buttons clicked, how far you scroll, how long steps take, whether a quote was generated or exported. Each browsing session is assigned a random identifier that is not linked to your name or email. This data lives in our database (hosted by Supabase) and is used solely to improve SwiftQuote.

Session replay (Microsoft Clarity)

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with the interface — where people click, scroll, or get stuck. Clarity reconstructs anonymized session recordings and heatmaps. All text you enter — client requests, company names, emails, feedback — is masked and appears as blocked-out characters in recordings. We configured Clarity's strictest masking specifically so that your clients' information is never captured. Clarity's own practices are described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

5. How we use information

AI training disclosure: Nothing you submit to SwiftQuote is used to train AI models — not by us, and not by Anthropic, whose API terms exclude customer data from model training. AI-generated recommendations are probabilistic and may contain errors; always verify pricing with your supplier before sending a quote to a client.

7. Cookies & similar technologies

SwiftQuote itself sets no cookies. We use browser session storage (cleared when you close the tab) to hold a random session identifier for analytics. Microsoft Clarity, our session-replay provider, sets the following cookies:

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or any cross-site tracking for marketing purposes. No data is shared with ad networks.

Do Not Track: SwiftQuote does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals, as no uniform standard exists. Our practices are the same for all visitors and are described in full on this page.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings: Chrome · Firefox · Safari · Edge. Disabling cookies does not affect SwiftQuote's core functionality.

8. Data retention

9. Your rights

Wherever you are, you can email privacy@swiftquote.ai to access, correct, or delete any personal information we hold about you (in most cases, this is only an email address). We respond within 30 days.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. SwiftQuote does not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA. To exercise any right, email us — no account means verification is usually just confirming control of the email address in question.

EEA & UK residents (GDPR)

Our legal bases for processing are: performance of the service you request (Art. 6(1)(b)) for quote generation; consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for email communications; and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) for anonymous analytics and security. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Data is processed in the United States; our processors rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where applicable.

10. Children

SwiftQuote is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. Analytics data is stored with access controls that permit writes but not public reads. Because there are no accounts, there are no passwords to breach. If a data breach affecting personal information occurs, we will notify affected users promptly and as required by law.

12. Changes to this policy

Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date. If changes are significant — for example, if SwiftQuote adds accounts or paid plans — we will note it prominently on the site. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
